History
In 2017, we provided technical assistance for a citizen-driven initiative led by Death with Dignity South Dakota, seeking to put a Washington-modeled assisted dying law on the ballot.
In February 2017, South Dakota State Senate approved and later the House concurred with Resolution 11 “opposing assisted suicide.”
