Pennsylvania legislature has seen assisted dying bills in several recent sessions.
In 2017, Pennsylvania State Senators Daylin Leach (D-Montgomery) and Lisa Boscola (D-Bethlehem) sponsored SB 238, Pennsylvania Death with Dignity Act. The bill was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee, and did not make any progress.
Representative and later Senator Leach introduced death with dignity bills in 2007 (HB 1435), 2009 (SB 404), 2011 (SB 431), 2013 (SB 1032); 2014 (HB 2548, with Sen. Mark Rozzi, D-Berks), and 2015 (SB 549, companion in the House HB 943). None made it out of the Judiciary Committee.
