- Massachusetts legislators sent a death with dignity bills to study, effectively ending their chances of passage in the current session.
- Hawaii Senate voted to pass HB2739 HD1, Our Care Our Choice Act. The Death with Dignity bill now heads to Governor Ige, who has expressed support for it. Hawaii will be the 7th jurisdiction in the U.S. to have an assisted dying statute.
