- Public debate continued in Indiana on the recently introduced Death with Dignity law.
- Legacy Health, serving the Portland, Oregon/Vancouver, Washington metropolitan area, has updated its policy on Death with Dignity, allowing their physicians to participate as attending (prescribing) physicians under the law, in addition to consulting.
