In the week from October 10 to October 16, 2016:
- As the campaign to pass Proposition 106, the Colorado End of Life Option Act, heated up, the Denver Post editorialized against the measure. Using factually incorrect information and falling for the opponents’ scaremongering rhetoric, the Post point to an alleged lack of safeguards in the proposed law.
- Meanwhile, the Durango Herald and Pueblo Chieftain endorsed the measure (the week before, the Aurora Sentinel did so as well).
