- Opponents in Vermont filed a lawsuit challenging the requirement for doctors to inform patients of all their end-of-life options, including that covered under Act 39, the state’s Death with Dignity law.
- In California, Judge Ottolia continued an injuction request by opponents of the End of Life Option Act until August 26. Implementation of the law continues unimpeded.
